The phrase "It's Personal" looks so simple but its meaning is completely complex. A simple task of politeness or picking up a piece of trash for the environment shows "It's Personal" and can be used everywhere. It is an uplifting experience for me to be out in the community helping where I know I am needed. There are many less fortunate that need even the smallest amount of my time and energy. Being a part of the Hanratty family has given me the opportunity to help, and for that I am ecstatic and look forward to every event we have. I feel that Hanratty is setting an example for other companies and their employees to follow.

Week Long Blood Drive

Helping save lives all week!

We are dedicated to our community; one way we are showing this is to host a week long blood drive.  We had a great turn out and would like to see more back again next drive.

Taking small steps to "pay it forward" creates a sense of unity as it brings people together within the community.

If we begin helping with small steps, the big things will eventually follow.  I truly feel that charitable giving is contagious and it only takes one person to start a chain of continuous giving.

Through Active Volunteerism.

Having a volunteer program at work represents the dedication that Hanratty & Associates has for the community!  It is a genuine personal reward knowing I have made a difference for the betterment of other people!!

Hanratty Employee Wellness Program.

The employees of Hanratty have been personally giving their time to various organizations and in small groups.  Our employees also expressed a desire to do something as a group.  So, this year we decided to create the Hanratty Community Crew.  The Hanratty Community Crew is committed to organizing group community service events throughout the year as well as encouraging and supporting the outreach efforts of our clients, vendors, employees, friends and family.  So far, this year, we helped package meals to feed 66 people for one year at Feed My Starving Children and served at the Emergency Foodshelf Network.  Additionally, we are excited to host a blood drive and a wellness biking event.

A person never knows when he may need the help of his neighbors or when his neighbors need his help.  Serving the community is important to us, it is rewarding to us, it is 'Personal' to us.  As Ralph Waldo Emerson states, "it is one of the most beautiful compensations in life…we can never help another without helping ourselves."
