Hanratty & Associates, Inc. is a benefits consulting and brokerage firm which has been at the forefront of employee benefits trends for nearly 30 years. We serve you using a straightforward, proven approach focused on three over-arching principals: guidance, choices, and comprehensive services.

Guidance
– Hanratty & Associates consultants have the knowledge and expertise to help you make well-informed decisions regarding health and welfare insurance for your employees. Many of us have had career-long affiliations with the major insurance companies and health plans, which is invaluable in analyzing plans and negotiating rates on your behalf.

Our benefit planning process begins with understanding your program objectives and establishing priorities to help you meet them. We’ll partner with you to create a plan design that is the most cost effective and comprehensive one for your needs. Each year we will re-evaluate your plan to ensure that your objectives are still being met. That’s one reason nearly half of our clients have stayed loyal to Hanratty & Associates for five years or more.

We keep you abreast of the latest regulation and law changes affecting your benefits and offer educational seminars to help you stay informed. Throughout our entire relationship with you, you can trust our consultants to share their expertise, knowledge and experience with your best interests in mind.

- Our status as a brokerage gives you choices from among a full range of products and services as well as from the major insurance carriers in the marketplace. We have working relationships with carriers such as Blue Cross of Minnesota, HealthPartners, Medica, PreferredOne, Rogers Benefits, Brokers National, Delta Dental, Guardian, MetLife, H&A Administrators, Mutual of Omaha, Principal, Unum, AIG, Standard Insurance, Assurant, Colonial Life, etc.

Plus, you will benefit from our experience with such products and services as Select105™, medical insurance, dental insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance, long-term care, voluntary benefits, defined benefit and contribution plans, cafeteria plans, and COBRA administration.

Comprehensive Services
– In addition to guidance and a variety of product choices, Hanratty & Associates provides a full range of services. A select team of consultants and service representatives will be assigned to you. This team will manage your plan, be available for day-to-day needs, and help you stay on track with your long-term goals.

Your team will keep both you and your employees informed. You can expect to meet with your team quarterly during the first year of our relationship—twice per year after that—to review and discuss claim data and reports as well as benefit trends, compliance and law changes, and to answer questions. Plus, you will receive our quarterly newsletter and invitations to the series of seminars Hanratty & Associates sponsors throughout the year.

Hanratty & Associates also offers an onsite human resources advisor to assist with a wide range of human resource issues including technical plan and design questions, compensation, benefits, employee relations and HR processes. We can counsel you about employee issues and help you with training and development, policies and procedures, governmental regulations, forms, drafting employee handbooks, and conflict resolution.

In addition to our consulting services, Hanratty & Associates offers administration services through its sister company, H&A Administrators. H&A Administrators is wholly owned by Hanratty & Associates and is a Minnesota-licensed third party administrator.
