Tim Hanratty founded the consulting and benefits brokerage firm
of Hanratty & Associates in 1976 and has been at the forefront
of health benefits trends his entire career. Tim's vision for
Hanratty & Associates has always been to provide health and
life insurance programs and services with the client--both employer
and employee -- in mind.

In 1995, he developed Select105™ to help organizations
save money and better manage health care costs. Far ahead of
competitors in the market, Tim had a foresight that organizations
would ultimately need to reduce budgets while still wanting to
provide valuable employee healthcare. Schools and counties have

To serve the growing need for third party administration, Tim
founded H&A Administrators in 1986.
H&A Administrators, a charter of Hanratty & Associates,
serves administrative needs for clients with Health Reimbursement
Arrangements (HRAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Direct Dental
Plans, Cafeteria Plans, COBRA continuation, and Select105™
plans.
He received his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation from
The American College of Life Underwriters. Earning a CLU, a
long-respected professional credential in the
industry, exemplifies Tim's understanding of the insurance
business, its operation and distribution systems, and the
importance for safe and secure investments. He is licensed by the
Minnesota Department of Commerce to sell life, health and accident
insurance in the state. Tim received his Bachelor of Science degree
in Business from the University of Minnesota.
Tim and Hanratty & Associates are members of the Minnesota Association
of School Administrators (MNASA), Healthcare Human
Resources Association of Minnesota (HHRAM), Minnesota Health and
Housing Alliance (MHHA), and the Association of
Minnesota Counties.
